  • Breath test is used to measure the amount of alcohol in your blood or system, but that is not so. The breath test simply measures the amount of alcohol in your breath. This means that breath test only estimates the alcohol in your system – it is not an exact reading. Breath tests are unable to convert your breath test results into the exact amount of alcohol that is in your blood.

  • This is interesting. I found this post after blowing positive twice in the past two weeks while on a weight loss program. I have lost about 9kg over the past month. Both times I blew positive I had not had anything to drink in over twenty four hours. The first time I hadn't had a drink in the previous two weeks, and the second time I had two shots of Kahlua twenty four hours before the breath test. I am on a low carbohydrate diet, although I am adding more carbs now that I have lost the 9kg, as I would prefer a higher energy level to exercise.
